Sleep is essential for a person’s health and wellbeing, according to the National Sleep Foundation (NSF). Yet millions of people do not get enough sleep and many suffer from lack of sleep.
Lack of proper sleep may result in daytime sleepiness that is severe enough to interfere with your daily activities.
Many people are deceived into thinking that lack of sleep is a very common issue and did not seek help, resulting in most of those with these problems going undiagnosed and untreated.
Dr Kenny Pang: Stop being deceived that lack of sleep is an acceptable condition! If you are experiencing consistent sleeping problems, it is advisable to visit your doctor.
